Biography

Strikingly attractive brunette Dolores Chaplin began her movie career quietly, in an uncredited appearance along with her sister, Carmen, in the moody Australian film Until the End of the World (1991). While Carmen went on to mine a more serious vein of drama, Dolores seems to have inherited the hilarity gene from her comedic genius grandfather. With her expressive, angular face and thin and agile limbs, Dolores has been a leading fixture in a series of French farces. Few of Dolores’s leads have reached American shores, but one worth searching out is La Patinoire (1999).
